Please read the following information carefully.
The services that we provide are limited. If you believe that we can provide a service that is not listed here, you should contact us on 0036 (1) 266 2888 before making a booking.
FEES
Our fees are not refundable. While Consular staff will give you as much advice as they can, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are obtaining the correct service. If you are unsure, you may wish to take legal advice before booking the service. As the power to perform certain Notarial acts is given to Consular staff by domestic United Kingdom legislation, we are unlikely to be able to carry out acts for use in countries other than the United Kingdom and Overseas territories, and Commonwealth countries without diplomatic representation in Hungary.
Please note that fees are subject to change without notice. A list of current fees can be found on our website.
HOW TO PAY
Fees are payable in cash Hungarian Forints. Please bring us the exact amount. We do accept Visa or Mastercard credit/debit cards. Fees are charged to cover the cost of processing an application and are subject to periodic review.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
For all Notarial Services and for Certificates of No Impediment, you must bring proof of identity and proof of your address.
Please note that you will have to pass through Security upon arrival at the Embassy. You should expect your belongings to be checked, and you will have to leave your mobile telephone in a lockable box at the main Embassy gate.
If you need to cancel or modify your booking, you will be able to do so by following the link in the confirmation e-mail.
